Ron fully acquired Membrane Concepts in 2010 after joining the company as a Partner and General Manager. Ron is experienced in pool construction, retail and supply chain management, financial analysis, marketing and sales. After more than 10 years in a variety of management roles for several Fortune 500 firms, Ron acquired and managed his own retail and property management businesses for 7 years prior to joining Membrane Concepts.
Ron is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has also earned an MBA with Distinction from Bentley University. Ron is active in Rotary International as a past Club President and Assistant Governor, serves on the Greater New Bedford Workforce Investment Board as chair of the Youth Council, and currently chairs the Board of Trustees for the Global Learning Charter Public School in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
George has worked in the pool business for over 25 years installing both in-ground pools and 60 mil PVC pool liners. While working for Sarnafil in the early 1990’s, George lead a team that developed the 60 mil PVC Pool Liner as an extension of the company’s commercial roofing business. When Sarnafil decided to exit the PVC pool lining business, George left Sarnafil and founded Membrane Concepts in 1996. Since then he has installed hundreds of commercial 60 mil PVC pool liners, and has helped develop the market throughout the United States.
George is a graduate of Boston State College (now part of the UMASS system), and currently resides in Calabash, North Carolina.
